The Courage Classic

... a 157 mile bike tour through Colorado’s Summit County benefitting The Children's Hospital on July 26, 27 and 28.

Morning Show producer Mikey will be training for his 2nd year riding in The Courage Classic and you can help make a difference in the life of a child today by supporting Team Alice. As you know Children's Hospital is the only freestanding, not for profit pediatric hospital in the Rocky Mountain region; no other hospital in the region cares for more sick and injured children, does more pediatric research, or trains more pediatricians and pediatric specialists than Children’s. If your daily grind isn't suited to cycling aspirations, you can still support Team Alice with an online donation at www.couragetours.com or by supporting these businesses:

• Kings Soopers proudly supports The Courage Classic and The Children’s Hospital and will be taking donations at every King Soopers in July and August.
• Alpine Automotive is supporting The Courage Classic and The Children’s Hospital with a $50 donation for every test drive. Click here to register , and don’t forget to mention the Courage Classic when you stop by to test drive any Alpine Automotive vehicle. If you purchase a car, Alpine will donate $200 to Children’s!

Jeep Dealers partner with Operation Gratitude to support troops!

The Front Range Jeep Dealers will serve as drop-off-points for Operation Gratitude, an all-volunteer non-profit organization that collects comfort items and letters of appreciation from the American public and ships them to service members deployed overseas. Operation Gratitude's mission is to put a smile on a service members face & lift morale. Donate items items appreciated are prepaid international phone cards, candy, girl scout cookies, novelty t-shirts, baseball caps, lip balm, packets of powdered cold beverages, energy bars, moist towelettes, etc. Thank you for supporting our troops!

Donate Blood, Save Lives

You have a lot of tough decisions to make during this political year. Here's a decision that is easy to make; Donate Blood. Blood donations can drop up to 20% in June, July and August, yet the need for blood during these months increases due to accidents, scheduled surgeries and medical treatments.

In appreciation of your life-saving donation, all donors who give blood between May 18 and July 12 will receive a Bonfils t-shirt. Between July 13 and September 6, donors will receive a Bonfils baseball hat.

Donors who give twice between May 18 and September 6, will be entered to win a trip for two to the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso in the Riviera Maya courtesy of Apple Vacations.
