A student's call to a Fairfax, Virginia school administrator's home asking why a snow day wasn't declared is all over the internet. The High School senior wondered why school officials didn't call a snow day after storm that dumped 3-inches on the area. So, he called the chief operating officer for the county school system, to ask why. Nobody answered, so he left a message… then he got one back from the COO’s wife: "How dare you call us at home! If you have a problem with going to school, you do not call somebody's house and complain about it. Get over it, kid, and go to school! Get an education that's what you are there for." The kid retaliated and put the message up on YouTube, and it’s getting thousands of listens. Video BELOW .

Here's a more candid look at Heath Ledger the person, and what he was really like. CBS 2 HD's Scott Rapoport spoke one on one with the actor back in December 2005 about his movie "Casanova." The lost interview is even more eye-opening in light of Ledger's tragic death in New York City on Tuesday. Jumpy, fidgety and biting his nails … Video HERE .
Paris Hilton was at Sundance on Sunday, torturing attendees with her vocal stylings at a private party. First the world had to endure her album, now she's back to throw salt on the wounds! See the video HERE .
Local news guy reports on the canadian brown finch overpopulation in town now. The birds don't like being called an infestation and let us know by totally dropping a "present" in dude's mouth! So funny!
Amy Winehouse finally entered a rehab facility yesterday to battle her drug addiction. The announcement came just days after Amy was seen in the British tabloid The Sun inhaling fumes from a small pipe. Police have launched an inquiry into that matter. In a statement, Universal Music Group said: "Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors. She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction. Amy is the most talented and important musical artist of her generation and has made huge strides on her road to recovery. We hope she will come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label. Amy also still plans to attend and perform at the Grammys." Amy is nominated for six Grammy Awards for her "Back to Black" album. But she has canceled a scheduled appearance Saturday at the NRJ music awards ceremony in France.
Jack Nicholson warned Heath Ledger not to take the sleeping pill Ambien. The 70-year-old Oscar-winner played The Joker in the original 'Batman' film, the role Ledger plays in new movie 'The Dark Knight'. And Jack warned Heath about the dangers of the prescription drug. Nicholson said: "Heath's death is tragic news. I warned him about Ambien. I took it once and somebody called me in the middle of the night and I woke up in my car 50 yards from my house. I almost drove off a cliff. I didn't know where I was. "Ambien can get you. Not through excessive use, it's just some people react more strongly than others." Ledger admitted he was suffering from insomnia after playing The Joker. (He was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday morning with six prescription drugs found in the room-- ncluding Ambien, anxiety medication Valium, anti-depressant Zoloft, anxiety drug Xanax, highly addictive sleeping pill Zoplicone and antihistamine Donormyl.) Also, actor Morgan Freeman stars alongside Heath Ledger in 'The Dark Knight'. Freeman said, "Heath's death shocked everybody. It's a tragic accident and a terrible loss to the industry."
Funeral arrangements for Heath Ledger have been finalized, and his relatives were expected to arrive in New York today. A funeral home spokesman (George Amado, the general manager of the Frank E. Campbell funeral home) would not give any more details, because, "The family doesn't want us to give out any information". Another report says Heath Ledger's family and Hollywood friends will honor him at a memorial service in Los Angeles this weekend. According to New York police sources, Ledger's father Kim will jet to California with his son's body, after he arrives in Manhattan today. While in Los Angeles, Ledger's family are expected to attend a service, alongside a number of Heath's contemporaries. ALSO
Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen first met over the summer of 2006, at the time he was living at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. People mag quoted a source who said, "Mary-Kate and Heath were casually dating for three months before Heath's death. They were hooking up, but neither were particularly interested in making it exclusive." As for what drew the two together, the source says, "They had a bond that was based on partying, and they had the same tastes in partying ... like, in terms of where they liked to hang out in New York, what time they would want to go out. They just had the same sensibility." ALSO
Tabloids repert that Johnny Depp will replace tragic Heath Ledger in his latest film role. Heath was six weeks away from finishing the fantasy flick "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus". Now director Terry Gilliman (supposedly) wants his pal Johnny Depp to film the remaining scenes. A studio source said: “There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could change into another character after that and that is where Johnny would come in. It’s a weird, fantasy, time-travel movie so Heath’s character could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment. “Johnny’s not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it.”
Multiple media outlets are reporting that Angelina Jolie is pregnant again-- but online sources (X17online) say that she's not only pregnant, she's expecting twins!
The National Enquirer says Las Vegs headliner David Copperfield and a Czech model have had two children, who are being raised in Las Vegas. Marie Petlickova's Las Vegas attorney quoted her as saying: "David is a wonderful, loving and caring father. Please respect our privacy." The news comes as a federal grand jury continues to investigate rape allegations made against Copperfield by a Seattle woman. The Vegas gal, her mother and the children have lived in a $1.5 million home at a local country club since 2006. The Enquirer reported that property records show the home is owned by David Kotkin LLC, a company controlled by Copperfield. Copperfield's real name is David Kotkin.
A 20-year-old Brooksville, Florida man tried to hit a guy with his car in a fit of road rage. The 37-year-old guy was about to make a left turn when the road-rager passed him on the left in his Honda Civic. The rager actually slowed down and tossed an orange out of his passenger window. The fruit smacked the guy in the head, so he hopped in his car and chased the road-rager down to get his plate number. After a 3-mile chase, he called the cops, who went to road-rager’s house and arrested him.
Two men on a motorcycle (in Brazil) grabbed a housewife, pulled out a machete and cut off the hair she had been growing for 20 years. The woman told police she was walking to church when she was assaulted. Cops said, "She was an evangelical and said she hadn't cut her hair for 20 years. It must have been more than four feet long." The robbers cut the woman's hair above her shoulders, apparently with the idea of selling it to be fashioned into a wig. "A hairpiece that size could cost you as much as $555".
A case is moving forward against a 72-year-old man accused of robbing a Lynchburg, VA bank, and then changing his mind. Hed tried to give the money back. A judge ruled that prosecutors have enough evidence to send the case to a grand jury. The old guy (Duval Alexander Davis Sr.) entered the bank armed with a gun and told the branch manager, "give me all your money." Witnesses said the old man then appeared to be conflicted, handed the money back and told the teller to call the police. He also tried to give her his gun.
